Staffing industry M&A activity increased ~25% in 2022, despite a number of macro-economic challenges that drove a decline of ~40% in broader market M&A activity. In fact, the number of staffing industry transactions increased in each quarter throughout 2022, suggesting strong momentum in the sector and an attractive backdrop for staffing company sellers (and buyers) heading into 2023.
